Privacy notice

For people who contact us about an engagement or a possible working relationship.

Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel This notice was prepared internally and has not been reviewed by an attorney. It should be checked before publication, particularly if applicants outside the United States are accepted.

Who we are

Digital Business Process, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company based in Atlanta, Georgia, is the controller of the information described here. Contact: info@digitalbpro.com.

SkAI Technologies, Inc. is a separate company. We do not share your information with it unless you ask us to, or unless an engagement you are being considered for requires it — in which case we will tell you first.

What we collect

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics on this website. We do not buy or receive information about you from anyone else.

Why we use it, and on what basis

Solely to assess and, if it goes that way, to arrange a possible engagement. Under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation the lawful basis is our legitimate interest in assessing people who approach us about working together, and — once terms are being discussed — the steps taken at your request before entering a contract.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it for marketing.

Who sees it

The principal of the practice. Our email is hosted by Microsoft as a service provider. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else without telling you.

How long we keep it

If we do not proceed, up to 12 months, in case something suitable comes up — and we delete it sooner if you ask. If we do proceed, for as long as the engagement lasts and afterwards for as long as tax and contract records must be retained.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Write to info@digitalbpro.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you are in the UK or EU, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Where your information is held

In the United States. If you write to us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.

Changes

If we change this notice we will change the date below. We will not apply a materially different use to information you have already sent us without contacting you first.
